- Marriage is a basic human right (SCOTUS). The Constitution guarantees all humans equality under the laws of the USA and its states. Gays are human. Therefore, gays are entitled to equality under the law. To say otherwise, your argument must deny one of the above postulates.

- Unfortunately, many people will go to any length to deny that gay people are humans and are to be accorded the same human rights and equality under the laws of the United States. To deny equality under the laws is to say certain people are not human, and that is as low as anyone can go.
